The Challenge
Ipswich City Council has a large stormwater network located in a heavily urbanised and flood-prone area meaning they are responsible for a great number of critical trunk and priority stormwater infrastructure. In addition to this, the network is of significant age in parts with some infrastructure being over 100 years of age leading to questions about the condition and accuracy of the network.
The Solution
Proterra Group worked closely with Ipswich City Council to develop a hybrid Quickview and CCTV methodology in parallel with survey and GIS technology to both accurately map and condition assess the stormwater network.
